We are very proud to announce that Arielle Charles, a Goalkeeper within our West Pasco Competitive Program has just accepted a soccer scholarship to attend and be a part of the Young Harris Women’s Soccer Program in Georgia. Young Harris is an NCAA Division II Institution and part of the Peach Belt Conference, one of the strongest in the Division II world.

Arielle will be moving to start there this coming August. It is a great testament to her, the team, and also the club who have worked to develop her to a point to receive a scholarship offer at the NCAA level.

Other Notable Players:

  • Cierra Rasmussen has been accepted to Lynn University, a member of the Sunshine State Conference
  • Erica Disbrow has been offered a position at Clearwater Christian College
  • WPYSA Club has 3 members of the West Pasco Youth Soccer Association who graduate in 2015 talking to Johnson and Wales University in Miami.

The Club congratulates Arielle, Cierra, Erica and the many other competitive players heading off to college to play soccer!

“One of our aims at WPFC is to prepare players for college life and the opportunity for players to receive positions on rosters and also soccer scholarships, is testament to the hard work of the players, parents and coaches together, said Ged O’Connor, Head Coach Women’s Soccer at Saint Leo’s University and U18/U19 West Pasco FC Competitive Coach. “We are excited to see the growth and potential of the girls in the college setting as they move onto the next phase of their soccer career.”
